Royal Rose Syrups and Split Rock Distilling are looking for energetic, hands-on team members to join our growing certified organic production and tasting room operations.
We are hiring for multiple positions, with opportunities in production, tasting room support, or a mix of both depending on experience, interest, and company needs. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in physical work, and is excited to be part of small, entrepreneurial Maine-based businesses.
About Us
Royal Rose Syrups produces certified organic, small-batch cocktail and beverage syrups made with real ingredients. Split Rock Distilling is a certified organic distillery focused on thoughtfully made spirits, local relationships, and hands-on production.
Both businesses are built around quality, creativity, and a deep commitment to local and organic production.
Position Overview
This role may include work in production, bottling, labeling, packaging, warehouse organization, order fulfillment, tasting room support, customer service, and general day-to-day operations. Because we are a small team, everyone pitches in where needed.
Typical hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility depending on the role and business needs.
Responsibilities May Include
Assisting with syrup and spirit production
Bottling, labeling, packing, and preparing products for sale or shipment
Keeping production, storage, and customer-facing areas clean and organized
Supporting tasting room operations and customer experiences
Helping with inventory, restocking, and order fulfillment
Representing Royal Rose Syrups and Split Rock Distilling in a positive, professional way
Jumping in wherever needed as part of a small, entrepreneurial team
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
Dependable, positive, and self-motivated
Comfortable working on their feet for most of the day
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Interested in locally produced, certified organic products
Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-moving small business environment
Friendly, team-oriented, and willing to learn
Excited by the idea of gaining broad entrepreneurial experience across production, hospitality, and operations
Experience in food production, beverage production, hospitality, retail, farming, brewing, distilling, or customer service is helpful, but not required. A great attitude and willingness to work hard matter most.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand for extended periods
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be comfortable with repetitive production tasks
Must be able to work in a busy production and customer-facing environment
